Built by Manufacturers,
for Manufacturers
ProAlert was created to solve a problem every plant manager knows: by the time bad data reaches a decision-maker, the damage is already done.
Give every level of your organization the visibility to act... right now.
Traditional reporting systems aggregate data overnight or at shift end. By then, a two-minute machine stoppage has become a two-hour production loss. ProAlert changes that equation by delivering live Andon events and OEE metrics to the right people the moment they happen... from the operator on the line to the VP of Operations in corporate.
We believe that real-time visibility is not a luxury for large enterprises. It's a necessity for every manufacturer competing on uptime, throughput, and quality.
Flexible. Configurable. Built for Your Operation.
No two plants are the same... and ProAlert doesn't pretend otherwise. Our platform adapts to your naming conventions, your shift structures, your machine hierarchy, and your escalation rules.
- Map data to your existing line and department structure
- Configure alerts for any role... operator, supervisor, or executive
- Connect to PLCs and sensors without replacing equipment
- Roll up multi-plant data into a unified corporate view
- Export to ERP, MES, or BI tools via open API
Continuous monitoring

Availability, Performance, and Quality scores calculated live at machine, line, and plant level.
Cycle Times
Actual vs. standard cycle time comparisons with deviation alerts and trend tracking.
Downtime Events
Unplanned, planned, and changeover downtime classified and attributed to specific causes.
Production Counts
Good parts, scrap, and rework counts tracked in real time against shift targets.
Shift Performance
Per-shift, per-line summaries with automatic comparison to prior periods.

Built From the Floor Up
ProAlert was not designed from the outside looking in. It was built by people who understood manufacturing firsthand — who knew what it costs when information travels slowly and the wrong person responds to a call.
James R. Mikel — Founder
James founded ProAlert roughly a decade ago, driven by his roots in fabrication and manufacturing. Standing on the shop floor, he watched facilities struggle with slow communication, duplicate responses, and problems that could have been caught hours earlier. He set out to build the tool he wished he'd had — one that turns real-time data into real-time action.
His firsthand experience shapes every product decision. The claim workflow that eliminates duplicate trips, the sub-second alerts, the OEE calculated continuously rather than in monthly batch reports — these exist because James has felt the cost of those gaps himself.
Steven — UX Design & Communications
In 2021, James brought in his brother Steven, whose background is in UX design and communication strategy. Steven's conviction: technology is only as valuable as people's willingness to use it. If a tool is confusing, workers find workarounds. If an alert is unclear, it gets ignored.
Steven's work on ProAlert's interfaces focused on making complexity invisible. BOM filtering narrows a parts list automatically. The claim workflow prevents duplicates without coordination overhead. The right information appears when it is needed — without searching. The result is a platform technicians and plant managers can learn in hours, not weeks.
